Rethinking Psychiatry is an association of individuals, united behind the mission described on our Mission Statement page. This website is a result of the collaborative effort of many volunteers.

At the time of this post we are conducting a thorough audit, reviewing all website content to ensure that it is compliant with copyrights and attribution requirements. Any content where the source and right to use cannot be established is being deleted.

Non-Commercial

“Rethinking Psychiatry” and its website, RethinkingPsychiatry.org are non-commercial. While we welcome donations to cover the cost of keeping this website up, and costs associated with meeting venues, etc., no one profits from these activities. We have no employees, no office, no assets. We are strictly not-for-profit.

We obtain content for this website from:

  • Original photographs and articles created by our members,
  • Content shared with us by permission from our friends and allies,
  • Public domain content obtained from Creative Commons and other free sources,
  • Selected graphics and excerpts used under the “Fair Use” rule.

Rethinking Psychiatry respects the rights of copyright holders – their right to determine how their works are used, the terms for use, and the right to recognition for their work through proper attribution.
